Last Updated: August 26, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the spry-mesa website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or book expeditions.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and spry-mesa. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms.

Service Description

spry-mesa provides guided wilderness expeditions in remote Canadian territories. Services include expedition planning, professional guides, safety equipment, and logistical support as outlined in specific expedition descriptions.

Expedition details, routes, and activities may vary based on weather conditions, wildlife patterns, seasonal factors, and safety considerations. We reserve the right to modify itineraries to ensure participant safety and environmental protection.

Booking and Payment

Submitting a booking request through our website does not constitute a confirmed reservation. All bookings are subject to availability confirmation and acceptance by spry-mesa.

Payment terms, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies will be communicated via email after your booking request is reviewed. Prices listed on the website are in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including concerns about physical fitness, experience level, or behavior that may compromise group safety.

Participant Responsibilities

By booking an expedition, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Accurately represent your physical fitness level and relevant medical conditions
  • Follow all instructions provided by guides regarding safety and environmental practices
  • Provide required equipment and clothing as specified in pre-expedition communications
  • Respect wildlife, ecosystems, and Leave No Trace principles
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for wilderness activities
  • Accept that guides have final authority on all safety-related decisions

Failure to comply with guide instructions or behavior that endangers yourself, other participants, or the environment may result in removal from the expedition without refund.

Assumption of Risk

Wilderness expeditions involve inherent risks including but not limited to: exposure to extreme weather, difficult terrain, wildlife encounters, altitude effects, physical exertion, and remoteness from medical facilities.

By participating in our expeditions, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with wilderness travel. You acknowledge that despite our safety measures and guide expertise, accidents and injuries can occur.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have adequate physical fitness, medical clearance, and insurance coverage for wilderness activities. We strongly recommend consulting with medical professionals before booking.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, spry-mesa, its guides, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising from your participation in expeditions.

Our liability for service-related issues such as cancellations, delays, or itinerary changes is limited to refund of fees paid. We are not responsible for consequential damages including travel expenses, lost wages, or missed opportunities.

Force majeure events including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control may necessitate expedition cancellation or modification without liability.
